This morning at 5am at the end of ITV Nightscreen there was an endcap that said "A Gower Limited Production"

Whats that all about then, arn't Intelfax making it anymore following the new look Nightscreen, or is this the same company with a new name, anyone know?

It seems nobody does but anyway never mind moving on...

Did we ever get to the bottom of how many different musical versions of Nightscreen are played every night?

Someone reckoned that their region's music changed regularly but my region's music seems to have been the same for years

Just ditch Nightscreen. I've got a great idea. Why not closedown at midnight ITV like the good old days. Or better still ITC advertise a seperate franchise. Surely some other company could do better. It's utter crap and an insult to viewers.

Why is having nothing on "like the good old days" better than what we have now? Sure it's piss poor, but that is one of the charms of all night TV. Where else could we have seem gems like God's Gift and Carnal Knowledge? I'd rather watch crap than a blank screen.

It's an interesting view, considering another thread is in uproar because they are axing Pages from Ceefax!

Hey...Nightscreen is the BEST thing on ITV1...don't knock it.

As ITV1 has no ads during the night, I do think running a "midnight movie" uninterupted would be an excellent idea. However, the late movies they do run have fake ad breaks made up of the Motorola sponsor, a couple of trailers and the sponsor again.
