I really liked the summary of the following days newspapers that they used to do at the end of the ITV Nightly News (Do they do this on Sky) and just wondered why they don't still do it on those nights when the news is at 11. BTW, when the news is not News at Ten, what do they call it, is it still The ITV Nightly News?

Well, you would presume that.
I was watching it a few days back, and it was well past the hour of 10, but the titles were ITV NEWS AT TEN.

They should replace the TEN to WHEN

Just found this and thought it may interest some of you. TIs this the same studio as is currently used? Occasionally in wide shots of the studio, you can see people walking along a corridor. This looks like the same corridor at the top of the image though I'm not sure if if I am right in saying that we never could see this in the old News at Ten set.

That does seem a bit silly given that the name is supposed to indicate the time of transmission. It would have saved the BBC a lot of money if they had just called the BBC Ten O'Clock News the Nine O'clock news and kept the same titles!! That is practically what ITN are doing. Mr Dyke, you missed out on that cost saving measure!

Sky News show the front pages BEFORE any other TV station @ 11:15 & then carry a full review @ 11:45. Reviewers include George Jones, Lauren Booth (PM's sister-in-law), Al Scardino (US hack who now owns a football club), Michael Dodds & THE BEST - SIMON BATES

I think ITN should briong it back when their News at Ten is on at eleven. It's a good way to end the day and to begin it as well. What time do the papers come out anyhow. I would like to see the BBC do something similar.

Don't Newsnight show the frontpages as well at 11.15pm? And News24 show their newspaper review at 11.45pm

Cheers, Asa

Whatever. ITv's 11.00pm news on Friday is called ITV Weekend News. Monday to Thursday is always ITV News At Ten.

Sorry, no as pictures of the new set being built were featured in the last News at Ten (old set) and also in the programme trailers. Also, the corridor at the top of the screen is computer generated.

What is the studio now then? And what of the Morning News studio, which also survived a few months after the ITV name was introduced to ITN News bulletins.
