In the ITV News bulletin this morning in the middle of This Morning with Richard and Judy, did John Suchet say that the ITV Lunchtime News would be on at six thirty instead of 1230?

Probably said 'back with the lunchtime news at 12.30 then the Evening News at 6.30. From ITN, goodbye and we hope you'll join us then.'

Perhaps - that'd make sense. Just was almost certain he'd said that. Perhaps someone will have it and can check.

Hmm. Bit daft, eh? I blame the autocue. Who's the thicko who typed the script for it, I wonder?

Perhaps that part is ad-libbed by the presenter. Anyway, it shows that we are all human and can make mistakes!

Just before the ITV Lunchtime News at 1230 today (Thursday) with John Suchet, in the Carlton area we saw the ITV Lunchtime News clock with John Suchet written underneath before breaking to the opening titles. Was this due to an early Carlton cross to ITN or aht would have been the reason?

No it was across the network - junction was 12:30:00 but ITN Grays Inn Road had it as 12:30:05 for some reason.
