I think that the new ITV News is badly designed, trying to copy the BBC News in every way, especially when you watch with a large TV in your home and all you see is 'humongously' large letters and annoying titles.

Its very sad that they seem to try to follow the BBC News's title in smooth graphics like there Idents and information bars (e.g. title, caption etc.) Crying or Very sad

Ditto.

Bloomin' hell, the guy's new here... okay he could have posted his opinion in the ITV News thread and he could have tried to write a little more clearly but he still has a right to state his opinion...

I'll second that- this guy hasn't caused any problems has he?

He's simple expressing his views on TV- and he's doing it on a TVForum.

Yep, there are no problems as far as I'm concerned. To be honest, I wish it'd be like this more instead of having to wade through big threads to find one little thing.

This guy has also asked how to get BBC World on Freeview, and told us how he is fumigated [sic] by Top Up TV Rolling Eyes

Well a lot of what you mention as 'copying' in your post is used on *most* news channels in uk and around the world - it is not a phenomenon exclusive to the BBC!

The *ONLY* thing I could think of that ITV News have copied is the regional news headlines in the 22:30 bulletin within the national headlines. Otherwise I think you are clutching at straws!

Welcome to the TV Forum and enjoy your stay!

Your use of the word 'ditto' confuses my mightily.

I thought he was implying that BBC LDN should be "culled"

May be wrong though.
