It's been one of those days today!

First an alarm ringing thoughout the 18:00 ITV Wales News and everyone continued as normal (see wales thread) and now the endless blunders on ITV News Channel! Just what is going on?

They also are showing the 'No need to turn over, ITV News with Trevor McDonald' one

They should have a fail safe one 'Live with Chris Rogers or Phil Gayle, throughout the day every day on the ITV News Channel'.

At 11.20 we're back to repeats of the 9pm bulletin with Chris Rogers

Yes, with what appears to be a ticker that is also taken from earlier, I have to say 'Recorded Earlier' is badly placed over the clock.

I wouldn't expect anything live from them until 5.30am now.

I bet we will get this until 11.50, god knows what for 10 mins, the longest break filler ever maybe? and then News at 10.30 repeated every 30 minutes from Midnight.

Someone on Digital Spy is suggesting that Five News's late bulletin didn't go out tonight - can anyone confirm this?

I'd love to know they've cut to the 10.30pm bulletin at 11.35pm!

The regional news was crudely edited out of the first repeat of the 10.30 they showed.

Now Meridian News is being show again, though it has just been cut off for ads mid-package.

Looks like they are trying to get back on time for 1am

At the moment we know that Felicity Barr is main presenter from Athens, with Mark Austin joining her tomorrow. Juliet Bremner is main correspondant but listening to the way that Mary Nightingale say that Mark was joinging a host of ITV News reporters would suggest that there are many more over there - reporting on the athletes, the sports and possible security stories that may arise during the competition!


Add to that list Jonathan Wills, who was in Athens for the News Channel this morning. Also, I think Damon Green may be there.

This morning they played the 'Live with Andrew Harvey and Lucy Alexander', just before 7am when it was in fact with Andrew Harvey and Lauren Taylor. Plus I've saw the Nicholas Owen and Angela Rippon trailers about six times this week, despite both been absent.
I like the trailers, but perhaps they just can't work.

Rachel McTavish has just called a phone-in about bullying on LBC radio to talk about her experiences of being bullied when she was at school.

The ITV NC looked in a right mess. Why was this problems for the NC, but not for the main ITV1 bulletins? Was it to do with the gallery?
