Has there been any announcement on the new season on ITV1 yet? I imagine much of the autumn scheudle will be out for the Rugby World Cup but I just wondered what esle was planned.

To my amazement I've just noticed that you've actually posted in that thread...
Yes, but you hardly made any announcements in that thread about the ITV1 Autumn Schedule did you ? You picked out about 6 programmes, some of which were You've Been Framed, Coronation Street & Stars in Their Eyes - anyone could have worked out they would be returning.

I'm quite surprised... usually when a thread like this is opened there's a big uproar and numerous reminders to use the original. There's no reason why this question couldn't have been posted in the original "ITV Autumn Schedule" thread, and I'm not promoting it because I started it or anything stupid like that.
Besides that, how many people here knew about "Celebrities Under Pressure"?
Most people don't look beyond the first page - trust me, I know what happens when you do. It's known about Pop Idol, and I presume the Vault won't finish yet.
Well, Millionaire is back at the end of August, Hardware is returning while Barbara has been axed. There is also a new drama starring Martin Clunes, while MIT returns in a 90-minute format.
As for the Rugby World Cup, with it being in Australia it will mainly affect the morning schedules, so won't have a huge impact on programming.
Maybe though SM:tv could be replaced with live rugby for a month, before returning in a new format.
IIRC quite a few matches don't begin until around 9.30am our time, with the earliest start time around 8am, so I think GMTV might not suffer too badly.
Does it mean we will lose this morning? Or will they transfer it to itv2 when the rugby's on? They all ready show Trisha on itv2 in the afternoon as it is. I cant see why they cant not show the pop idol extra repeat usually at 11am and have trisha and this morning on at their usual times on itv2. Thats why they have a second channel surely!
