Nice touch with the home page, Asa!

And for me the 1989 version of the logo still looking the best of the lot.

Someone on another forum has said that the new look ITV News will have a 90s ITN look, something like this then?

I did like that look

I think that'll be quite welcome considering how nostalgic we've all been for it in recent months. The outgoing look IMO was very much a nod to the ITN of the 80s, so if this is a nod to the 90s it should look very nice indeed - though I dread what will ultimately replace it if the pattern continues.

A nod to the noughties perhaps? Just kidding!

The news rebrand is looking really good IMO (despite the new curvy ITV logo). The studio set design is very much a return to traditional news-style presentation while the titles and music are clean and fresh. From other comments I've read on here in recent months, I'm inclined to think most people on here will actually like it. While the 2009 rebrand was dubbed 'Vivid & Visual' the creative concept behind the 2013 rebrand is 'The Full Perspective' (which ties in quite nicely with the new strapline - life from every angle).

Well last night the only idents I managed to get from ITV2 were "City and Country" and "Dancing Feet".

I was expecting Take Me Out - The Gossip at 1:30am to start with Couple (the most likely programme of all to do so), but it started with Dancing Feet.

Nice information here!

I reckon the music is going to be something like the music on the latest promo.

Argh I can't wait for tomorrow.

These programmes may not be to everyone's taste, but credit where it's due. ITV2 is the biggest digital channel out there in terms of audience ratings and share, and that's been the case for quite some time now.

But my point is, very little of that is due to the brand, so it's still pretty disposable.

But then if it's popularity is due to the programmes not the brand... then there no point in risking changing its name.

ITV have decided that the brand does not best reflect the programming on the channels. This is why the re-brand is happening.

Are we likely to see the new ITV logo up in Scotland during Daybreak tomorrow before STV takes over?

Yes I would expect so, it won't be at 6am but definitely should see break bumpers throughout up until 9.25am.

Any news to see if the itv weather graphics will be re vamped tomorrow?
They're basically unreadable!
As ITN have updated channel 4 and channel 5 weather graphics already, do you not think it's about time they change them to be more modern.

I think the rebrand is more because ITV1 doesn't reflect the programming, hence why they're changing the name. I think the other three channels work well.
