It seems that ITV3's twitter has been deleted? but ITV 2&4 remain?

https://twitter.com/thesambaugh/media-news - this list I made had 23 memebers yesterday and now has 21? most of them were itv, and all the bbc ones I added are still there :S anyone have any idea's?

ITV4's twitter seems to have been abandoned. No updates since 5 December.

It probably comes down to audience profiles. Would you expect ITV3/4 viewers to be on Twitter? Particularly ITV3 viewers.

Do you remember in 2004 when there was the last major rebrand, Calendar took ages to get the new corporate studio. Here's a clip

Hopefully on Monday, things will be very different

Does anybody else think the blue theme suited ITV News a lot better than the yellow theme it has now? I don't mind the national news in yellow so much but the yellow theme on the local news just isn't pleasant compared to the one above.

Those titles were pretty naff. There was a story of one region being supplied its titles with it zooming into the wrong region on the map.

Not the same story but ITV Central (East) used the West template and they didn't realise until rehearsals the day before!

That Calendar network look from 2004 replaced a very short lived new look (quite radical). Hence a relit corporate look there

It wasn't radical as much as it was pants, though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXcm5kDJUl8

The 2004 corporate identity was much needed, I think!

Not just the look (titles were awful!) but the format of one presenter in the studio and the other on location every night was poor

That's right, Calendar was relaunched on 27 May 2003. Duncan Wood joined the programme and was on location outside Sheffield Town Hall to welcome home Sheffield United, after their play-off final defeat. Christine was in the studio.

Meridian South East from the newsroom tonight with a few monitors in the background with ITV News logo on. Was the CSO that bad or did the other half of the region use it at the same time?

For the Twitter links, strip off the final bracket...or just view on Neon.

No that continuity announcer is far too butch to be Andrew Hayden Smith!

He is shouting somewhat and distortion of sound

ITV Wales newsroom bulletins have a look of ITN's bulletins in the early 90s.
