Lucy Verasamy (the National forecaster) doing Central's weather for the first time.

Is this the same for other regions? Could that be because they're preparing for new graphics or because most regions are using their green screens anyway?

The Weather on The West Country Tonight was presented by Kate Reeves at the Met Office's HQ in Exeter.

A nice bright newsroom compared to Granada's!

Doesn't most local ITV weather come from a central location these days?

Maybe up North but not down South. West/Westcountry, Meridian, Wales, Central, London and I think Anglia all have their own individual forecasters.

Not what I know of, only BBC Breakfast seem to do that. Weekends are a bit different as the weather presnters can double up for a few regions - I know that Granada, and Central weather presenters swap sometimes at the weekend - but during the week its definitely the Granada weather presenters from the rooftop.

I'm sure at times, Wales/West used to get its forecast from Central but might be wrong.

Which region's studio is that?

No, the complete opposite in fact, all weekday regional weather comes from the region in question, with some doubling up at weekends or at holiday times.

Calendar's newsroom should look good as it's new and they've only been in there a few months. Granada's is probably somewhat older.

Has Calendar's newsroom moved recently? That's certainly not the much larger newsroom I went to last year, unless their news operation is spread over two rooms. I wonder if that room is actually admin something else. (Ooops, doesn't matter, just read the post above!)

Granada's newsroom looks pig ugly from that picture posted earlier.

Anglia still like to cosy up with Meridian. Also I don't know if anyone has mentioned yet but ITV branding on the dish outside Anglia House was removed months ago, before this thread even started, leaving the only reference to TV on the building the big "ANGLIA TELEVISION" lettering on prince of wales road (alongside many "property of anglia television signs").
I wonder why they were so keen?

Calendar moved a few months ago into what used to be the offices at Yorkshire. The studio is in what used to be the YTV bar. This meant they were able to close the Calendar building next door
