I think the aim is to keep the words ITV and News together. So I'm fairly certain ITV Central News would be out, and maybe replaced by ITV News Central? But I really don't know for sure.
If they just prefix the phrase ITV News, then Calendar will survive pretty much unscathed, as the current titles have the ITV News logo appear, then zoom across to the word Calendar (with clips inserted in between on the main programme) anyway, and I expect the new titles to also include the full ITV News logo. Name changing Calendar is a major conundrum as it's region is equivalent to the BBC Yorkshire and BBC Yorkshire & Lincolnshire regions, thus using the term Yorkshire & Lincolnshire gives an Eastern bias, and not using Lincolnshire is a Northern bias (this wasn't a problem when YTV launched as the east part of the region was only transferred from Anglia six years after launch). Granada has a BBC News related problem as using the name North West would be too similar to their North West Tonight, while Meridian's changing to ITV News South would evoke memories of Southern and TVS, the very reason why Meridian is called that in the first place.
You can see why the regional news shows haven't been renamed already, except for HTV.
ITV News Granada is such a mouthful. I don't see how this will strengthen the ITV News brand or the regional news programme's brand. Granada Reports

the North West's regional news programme on ITV. We all know that - we don't need to be told constantly in the name.
I'm sure branding people think we're really stupid. News 24 was obviously ran by Sky....
Have Regional programmes had the same theme tune since the 2004 revamp? Surely it's time for something new in this revamp?
There was a slight remix in 2006 but it's been effectively the same since 2004. It sounds really stale now, compared to say the BBC's regional news music from 2000 which would still sound fresh now.
