ITV Rebrand and New Logo

ITV Sport is getting a green version of the logo apparently. Not sure what that means for the pleasant recent update to the football graphics, but that is what has been decreed.

Green? Hmm. I'm not so sure about that, especially with the fantastic package that they currently have. The black/white logo works well with a palette of colours that can adapt the package for different sports, whether that be the original black look, or the new silver. Even with continued use of the champions league style graphics, I doubt the green would sit well, but we'll wait to see.

Granada Studios Australia is to be rebranded as ITV Studios Australia in the New Year - is that the last of the Granada branding gone then?

Don't speak too soon - they need to rebrand too. They could simply use ITV(1)'s idents. Their website address, itv.asia, doesn't include the word Granada, so I won't be surprised to see the name gone there as well.

So the regional studios are actually getting a total overhaul then?

Am I invisible or something? I've been telling people this for months!

But they're doing Bristol first? Or all at the same time?

Obviously for London they just need to flick a switch and maybe change the furniture for everywhere else Brum's first in line surely?

4 are going first, London, Central, West(Country) and Granada - the rest within 4 months or so!

Wonder if Granada will get 2 temp sets then until they move to Media City, anyone any idea when that it is now? I'm sure they said the end of 2012 at one point.
