ITV Rebrand and New Logo

I think the ITV logo is a solid colour for 'sub-brands' like News and the digital channels. That's how I interpreted it, anyway.

I have to say, I love what I've seen so far.

All that really means is the real logo is better than your attempt. Confused There's a million other ways it could be incorporated into a news package.

Did I say there weren't other ways for it to be done? I was just saying I cant envisage how it will look, having had a play around with it.

I like the new logo and identity, it finally shows a proper brand. These current logos are just bodged from the original 2006 idents with different colours and from then they have looked very out of place.

Looking forward to seeing these new ones on TV. Liking the fact that "ITV" also states that it is the main channel without needing the 1.

I've just had a play with it to see what it'd look like with one solid colour based on the other channels - ITV2 in red, ITV3 in blue, ITV4 in grey, CITV in yellow etc. I think the multi-coloured one drags it down personally.

yeah, in one ident an old woman drives very slowly past a shop in a mobility scooter, with the logo slapped on of course.

Sadly, I can't see them ever using the ITN name in the names of ITV news programmes again.
