The "NEWS" font looks identical to that of Sky. It looks very virtual from that picture. From what we can see it looks like a drastic improvement to the old set but still lagging considerably compared to 2008.

Love the look of ITV3's image, not liking ITV2 though. Hope the picture isn't depicting the full channel look

The ITV News brand is looking very good in my opinion. Instead of "ITV News Channel TV" I wonder why they didn't opt for "ITV News Channel Islands"?

I'm guessing the images change in the titles as Manchester isnt even represented in the Granada version.
They might as well have done away with the regional names for these. itvNEWS South and itvNEWS Channel Islands would have made more sense. And why do some have a programme name such as Granada Reports, and others have just the region's name?
That said, can't wait to see it all in action!

Because everyone except Yorkshire appears to be showing off the regional brands. For Yorkshire, I think they kept the Calendar name because the word Yorkshire describes only part of the region, so changing it would alienate viewers in Lincolnshire.

I do think if they dropped the Granada Reports in the north west there bit be erm just a bit of a issue with the public
It took them long enough to change it back from Granada Tonight in 2001, I take it we will get a "itvNews Granada" for the rest of the news updates etc.
