ITV Network Transmission Issues

ITV 1 has indeed fallen off the Freeview platform... so viewers, what's happening on cable and satellite?

vision restored on Freeview, still no sound

ITV 1, ITV 2, ITV 3 and ITV 4 - all affected. Still captions on 2, 3 and 4. No sound on ITV 1.

Sound has just been resored on ITV1.

Sound is back for some ITV 1 regions on DSAT. Still no sound on the ITV 1 London DSAT feed.

London region on Freeview still has no sound or vision on ITV1, ITV2, 3 and 4 have captions (already posted in this thread)

It's also worth adding that CITV is also back on air now, but seems to be broadcasting in 14:9.

ITV1 is black and silence on Virgin too here in London. Breakdown slides (in wrong aspect ratio on 2,3,4

Analogue had just static on the audio until the last break of Loose Women when it disappeared totally to 14:9 letterboxed static and returned with picture and sound (and London Teletext) for the adverts

The same ads are being played on London and Anglia, so I think it's safe to say transmission is coming from Leeds now. Also the break bumper faded in, which is something the southern regions never do, but I know Granada always does.

CITV shouldn't have gone off air, it's broadcast from Leeds, as is M&M

Which would explain the white noise gap between the programme and the adverts

At the end of the break the reverse has happened.... picture and sound white noise (again in 14:9 letterbox bizarrely) then cut back to Loose Women squished letterbox with white noise as audio

ITV 2 and ITV 3 back on air just after 12.45pm.
