The website for Supernatural is quite good, sign of things to come?

www.itv.com/supernatural

How American. This looks like it will be a big show for ITV2, that was the one I saw on the bill board and that ITV2 logo just looks better and better everyday, didn't think I'd like the lime green but I really do.

Another show that ITV are hyping is Wanted, airing on ITV4 from Tuesday; billboards all over London displaying that.

The website for that is a bit strange - www.itv.com/wanted

All of the links seem to be to external sites, and some of them are a bit... exotic..!

Yeah, ITV are really pushing the advertising of their digital channels big time, which is a good thing.

Erm, ok. How odd, I don't see how that's advertising the show myself. Confused

Well it looks like they're going to town a bit with the programme mini-sites, which I personally like!

Notice all of the URLs change to 'http:// PROGRAMMENAME .itv.com'

Yeah, I noticed that. I wonder if this will be the same for the other tv shows. Will Coronation Street finally get it's own proper website? Probably not, but I can always hope. So many questions and no answers. Thank goodness we don't have to wait much longer.

The Eleventh Hour site is up now too. Looks like ITV are at last beginning to invest something into their website. The new sites that are popping up are looking good, although I don't know what to make of the Wanted website.

Coronation Street has got an interactive site on Sky - press red on ITV and select Coronation Street - there's a video loop, some games, news etc.

Quite a good service by ITV's standards.

I don't really see the point in that - C4 did it at one time then reverted to the more standard /prog format.

I think the point is that these sites do not use the content management system that the rest of itv.com use, therefore they have their own subdomain, presumably makes it easier to manage individual sites that way.

yes the main CMS is ghastly. As both aliases work they'll probably still advertise the /website.

Maybe they'll move back under itv.com when they finally replace the clunking heap that is their main site
