Well I seem to be getting it! It's quite large and simply has the ITV logo instead of ITV.com. Along the top is a mish mash of various colours as well as links to the ITV channel websites. There's also a table of about 16 links to stuff like Entertainment, Soaps, Kids etc and includes Friends Reunited. There's also an ad banner
EDIT: Oh well!

Thanks for that. Don't like it that much.

The only thing I like so far is the still we've seen of the new regional news titles (and presumably national ones also).
I am far from impressed with the rest of the package. I really think ITV plc should ask for a refund of a substantial part of the fee they paid to RED BEE.
OK, ITV2 might look interesting and funny (once or twice as a strand promo), and ITV3 looks classy (after a fashion, once or twice as a strand), as for ITV1 (I will get banned if I really say what I think!).
What is it these days with Media Companies like RED BEE (or even Lambie-Nairn on late form) thinking that they can get away with sending out a first-year Art Student with a home movie camera, capturing some "arty shots", slapping a boring logo on it, announcing it with loads of marketing double-speak and expecting ANYONE to buy it?
The public won't change their view of ITV, they'll just think ITV have gone the way of the BBC Dancers and gone for a cheap solution. *yawns*
I've seen far better ideas from mocks, and they were also using the previously "leaked" logo that was so obviously developed on the back of a beer mat in the pub in a single lunchtime.
These are merely similar to the sort of promo we used to see for a new season, not as the main ident for a channel . The whole ITV package is frankly embarassing as a multi-million pound relaunch.
I'm not sure who should be more ashamed, RED BEE for knocking out such cr@p, or ITV plc for actually buying it

If it's crap it's fault of the client, not the design agency.... if the designers don't come up with something that the client likes then they'll either keep on designing until they do. ITV would have got ideas from other companies and could have pulled out and moved their business elsewhere at any time.
But here's a novel idea.... why not wait until next week when you can everything in situ?

I am aware that ultimately ITV plc decided which package to take. I remember seeing some of the "test" examples of Hearts Idents produced for Granada companies.....in my view they shouldn't have picked either, but hey hoo!
Indeed, and I will reserve my judgement until we get the actual on-screen version on Monday, but I'm not holding my breath for anything special.......what they use for ITV1 now is better than anything they've had for years......(well since Carlton Westcountry)
I appreciate what you mean about waiting though. I remember seeing the new SKY PREMIER logo in the Sky Magazine shortly before the launch from Screen 1 & 2 and thinking it looked bad. When I saw the ident i loved it and it's become one of my all time favourites.
Somehow I can't see the ITV stills we've already got developing into such a classic

I can't honestly see how you can say that what is currently on-screen is the best they've had for years. There are only about 4 idents, all of which are totally boring and un-inspiring to say the least, with cubes spinning around to form the over-sized logo.
