No - if they had 2 different logos for the same channel on at the same time it would be branding madness.
If they have any sense, they'll launch everything to do with the new look on the same day - Mon 16th.

UTV have started showing promos in the new ITV1 style. It's hard to describe so I'll try and capture one in the next ad break and post it here.

Remember when CBBC used yellow and black? I couldn't stand it but it might work here, it all really depends on what they can do with the ident. I pesonally prefer when an ident can be manipulated in many different ways like on Channel 4 or the older '2's.

OK, UTV didn't show any using the new style during that ad break so I'll give it a try explaining it!
The background is black, it's kind of similar to the existing ones in that the picture is in the middle and there's bits either side of it (if you know what I mean!) But the bits either side of it are the yellow/orange curved bits of the ITV1 logo. So in other words it has a giant ITV1 logo but instead of ITV1 inside it, it has the clip of the programme. The text advertising the name and time of the programme is situated to the bottom right and the ITV1 logo is in the bottom left hand corner (covered up by a UTV logo in our case!). The "giant logo" with the clip of the programme is situated in the top left hand corner.

Can't remember the name of it but it's a new programme (coming to UTV Day apparently, which doesn't exist!) about a group of people who feel insecure in their bodies etc etc. If anyone happened to catch This Morning yesterday, they were talking about it on that.

Almost right, yes. But the main bit with the image in it was way up in the top left hand corner.
