I dont remember any rumour of a yellow logo, I made mocks with a gold logo, but that wasn't due to any rumour. Also the main information we have heard about this re-brand is the end of yellow and blue on ITV1 and bye-bye 4 square motief.
I may have believed this information straight, had it not been the mention of ITV4 green, why would that be used, an ordinary green maybe, for maps, but ITV's dull green, just doesn't sound right, but I may be proven wrong. The blue and gold, I can believe, but was hoping not to see, but there we go.

P Goe is claiming that the Christmas idents will be the last of the current ITV1 presentation, launching on Christmas Eve and running through to January 1.
The new look ITV1 will - allegedely - launch on Monday January 2.
If the ITV News network is revamping on January 16, an entire two weeks will seperate the two revamps, and the four squares and old logo would remain on the News while they are scrapped on the main channel.
So either the ITV1 revamp is January 16, or the ITV News revamp is January 2. I can't see them having them spaced apart; that's stupidity.

No news on SMG I'm afraid, though I hope it does end up changing with ITV this time. It would be hard for them NOT to change though; they got away with it last time as the basic premise was the same; yellow and blue colour scheme, similar logo. But ITV's colour scheme is going to be changed, and the logo completely new, so I doubt it.
If SMG do keep the Celeb idents I will be surprised. I do feel sorry for anybody who has to live in that seemingly deprived region, where presentational changes are not recognised.
They can't really keep them, after ITV has rebranded twice since them being on air... can they?
I'd imagine many of the faces are now growing tedious - in fact the whole package would probably have driven me to insanity after this period of time, actually.

Yeah, but the ITV versions are rarely showed anymore. It's usually just some of the Scotland Today presenters/reporters.
I seriously doubt they'll bother!

Yeah, but the ITV versions are rarely showed anymore. It's usually just some of the Scotland Today presenters/reporters.
I seriously doubt they'll bother!

I've seen a sneaky peek of the new ITV1 logo.. and it's yellow.
Here's a quick mock - the shade's not quite right, and my version looks a bit more Kill Bill than the real thing.

The Welsh variant has the world Wales in lettering aligned underneath the word ITV. The shiny reflection is with some of its on-screen appearances, and not technically part of the logo. Look out for sliding vertical lines, too. (but not full-height, a la Channel 4. The font is called ITV Medium.

Having just read back a fair chunk of this thread, I see that the first post says ITV1 will be yellow 
I've not really seen much of ITV4, but had a look at the clips on Red Bee's site, and can say that the logo forms up in a different way: it starts off as a solid ITV 'lozenge', and the 1] slides out, a bit like a drawer.
No idea when they'll be going live, I'm afraid.
I don't think I was really meant to have seen them, so I'd best not say too much about that!
