Has anyone seen Sian Lloyd recently? She seems to have vanished off the face of the Earth.

She was on the 7pm forecast tonight.

Well the new titles have begun today, on first impressions they are dire.

A new feature:
The Copyright sentence (an IWP Production etc) and the Summary chart are now part of the in-vision forecast itself.
This is because the end titles are separate

Anyone care to explain? I haven't seen them yet - I presume the so-called 'weathergens' have gone?

It seems that nobody has seen them yet!

ITV National Weather is at 1.05pm, 6.57pm and after the Late News.

There have been 2 versions shown so far.

On Saturday it was cloudy inside a house, or some nonsense like that
On Sunday and Today, it rains on top of a family sat in their lounge until they put the phone back?

The facial expression of Martyn Davies yesterday seemed to read 'What the hell was that?' when he started the forecast!

I quite like them personally. At least they're not a dull picture on a dull white background with WEATHER written in big black dull letters. Now who'd be dull enough to have a weather intro like that?

Yes but that was an improvement over no intro at all!

YTV's set including a bald man's hair blowing away, are still very good!

Granada have got some nice new ones. One involves a goldfish and the other has something to do with a bath. Very nice relaxing music to go with them! Granada Weather has got through so many sponsors in the last few months! They're now on United Utilities, after going through Claims Direct, The Accident Group and the dreadful one without a sponsor.

Another 2 ITV National Weather opening titles have appeared this week, taking the total to 4.

Any captures yet?

There are only six different Idents in the new line up.
One of these has been withdrawn temporaily, but might be shown next year.

I think you've still got Fog Man to look forward to.

Yes we've seen 'Fog Man' now!

Martyn Davies always has a 'what the heck was that' face on, when he starts the forecast!
