I think its getting worse as well. I would contact them but I have no idea who/where to contact Laughing

I can't help but think they should ditch the weather at the end and opt for an integrated forecast and analysis in the ITV News studio itself, I mean its not exactly lacking for a CSO screen Laughing When Clare is on GMTV, she does a frequent analysis lasting about 2 or 3 minutes and I don't think any other channel offers this.

You'd have thought that somebody who works at ITV watches the ITV Weather. One benefit from the new set up is that the height is better as a viewer/the camera isn't as close, it's more the sort of height/zoom that the BBC and GMTV use.


I expect they know about it, but it's a further example of the culture of lethargy when it comes to presentation at this broadcaster.

That ITV can't broadcast a basic standard definition weather forecast that doesn't look like it's played off a betamax tape in the digital / high definition age is a shambles.

For it to go out once looking like that would be bad enough, but for the best part of a week is just negligence. Either sort it out at Millbank or wherever it's gone to, or get Jon Mitchell at YTV to record the forecast or one of the other regional centres.

I think they've finally sorted the problem, it was back to normal on the Lunchtime weather.

I think it's all been fixed now. All the forecasts i've seen today have been back to normal.

I suspect they moved back to their home at Gray's Inn Road then?

Maybe they're undergoing a graphics revamp and they needed new high-tech equipment, hence why they moved out of Gray's Inn road for a time? Wink
