How does ITV Thames Valley weather sponsorship work?
I understand that the north/south halves of the region still count as legally part of the "Central"/"Meridian" franchises, respectively?
When TVT first launced, I understand that the whole region got the existing Central Weather sponsor (BMI Baby), presumably as Meridian's sponsor was a ferry company, which would seem odd in the land-locked Thames Valley. I presume that it's still BMI Baby, as it still is in Central land?
So how does "selling the advertising space" (or whatever) for ITV Thames Valley Weather work, as it's in two different franchise/advertising areas?
Hmm... I notice the sponsorship has changed to a general "ITV National Weather is sponsored by eSure car insurance". And just as those annoying Sheila's Wheels stings were growing on me!
Oh lord, what is the fascination with these bloody Weathergens? - the amount of people who contact me "Have u got n e weathergen clip for w around 1998?" etc.
