I read on a website some where that they are going to be changes to graphics and the systems shortly to coincide with the rebrand, don't know how true it is
Not very likely at all, are you forgetting that ITV have only just introduced new weather graphics
do you know how much there spent of the weather map it very high tech! and there can only afford to have announcer! but still it better than the BBC map
Ron Bendall and Rene Wyndham and also a forecaster with a great name - Dan Downs (parents must've been Status Quo fans!) from Westcountry should get a big break doing national forecasting - or of course, you could have the legendary Bob Johnson from Tyne Tees - but not sure what ITV chiefs would make of his acronyms if they cropped up on national forecasts!
Maybe because she won Weather Presenter of the Year at this years TRIC Awards ( Televison and Radio Industries Club awards)
( see ITV 's website corporate pages)
Jo is presenting this week from Grays Inn Road and not from Leeds.
So far, so good. Makes you wonder why ITV keep Sian?
Well she is the nations most well known and favourite weather presenter.
Ask someone to name a weather presenter, a lot will say Michael Fish, then considering he's retired, they'll say Sian Lloyd

It's different for us on this side of the Pennines, as really we've never had a proper Weather presenter, the closest we had was Fred Talbot doing the Weather on Granada Tonight, but that was merely reading it out over a slide of a picture some kid drew. But when Granada continuity got moved down to Leeds in 1998, then Fred's duties started to disappear, as Yorkshire then took control of Granada Weather.
I think In Vision Weather presenting from Yorkshire has been on Granada for about 3 and a half years now and Jo has probably made the most impact on Granada, considering she's been on at least 3 Granada regional programmes in that time, she has the looks and has the talent, which goes down quite well. So it's good to see her on the ITV National Weather.
When ITV brought in Robin Lermitte and Chrissie Reidy it seemed to bring in some fresh air into the service, though Martyn Davies is good, he can be a bit dull and I have nothing against Sian Lloyd but she doesn't do it for me, but I think it's a shame that Robin and Chrissie have been put back to ITV Regional Weather (in the South!), but then again Becky Mantin has brought some fresh air back, again she has the looks and the talent, like Miss Blythe.
I wonder how long we'll see Jo on ITV National Weather for then?
