ITV lose rights to show F1 from 2009

I hope this means that the qualifiers will be early Saturday afternoon thus timeshifting Football Focus to an earlier timeslot and thus reducing the god-awful cookewry programmes on Saturday mornings!!!

You've unintentionally raised a good question there, will the F1 be shown on BBC1, BBC2 or a mixture of both?

I expect we'll get the same as we've had from ITV. They said on Five Live the other day that practice sessions would be carried via the red button and I'd hazard a guess that during the actual race we'll be offered audio options between TV and Five Live.

And will North One continue to produce it like the BBC have used Sunset+Vine for cricket?
