Does anyone know the income channel 4 gets from 4seven and channel 5 with 5+24 do they make cash or? What are viewing figures like?
5+24 is a much better channel than the awful 5star channel and 5usa which are now just filled with benefit Britain shows none stop and old films..bit like main channel 5 now and next week!
Itv choice would be better than itv be and most of itv4

That may be the case with C5+24 on Sky/Freesat, but the Freeview version is a waste of bandwidth with infomercials during the day, then the C5 peak schedule from the previous day.

Well 4oD has been around for a decade or so now - and All4 is little more at the moment than a weaker brand name for 4oD, a brand that has been around longer than the iPlayer.
E4 had the right strategy for catch up repeats when they launched with "Second Chance Sunday" - one night a week dedicated to the biggest shows of the week. That sort of strategy can work well for a digital channel - a bit trickier for the main PSB channels but they all, including the BBC (actually especially the BBC) make better use of their digital channels for rerunning network shows rather than creating channels especially for the purpose.
That said 4seven rates well enough for C4 - better than 4Music and More4+1, though that isn't on Freeview.
