Yeah, they should. The breakbumper could at least say a catchphrase relating to a TV show, if they've got nothing better to show.

Yeah, but they only do it to push promotion for a show. If they've got nothing to push, then a generic version is perfectly fine.

Yeah, but this presentation style is a step backwards IMO.

The ITV Studios slide is still using the old background.

Most likely. I suppose the only slight change will be a complete new End Trailer Board and an updated ECP but who knows what goes behind closed doors....

I noticed on ITV Central HD earlier that the break bumpers in between daytime programmes Tipping Point and The Chase were SD and still featured the old background going into the breaks and the new version coming out of them.

When I watched the breakbumper on ITV (London) HD, They were in HD. (During 'This Morning' and 'Loose Women').

A similar thing happened to ITV in the South West.

I think the new trailer style is a huge improvement. I understood the desire to make the new ITV brand prominent at first, but the programme name, date and time needed to be bigger.

It's all very well looking at screenshots on this forum and picking them apart, but when viewed on TV, YouTube or The ITV Hub) - ie how normal people view them - this new style does the job far better.
Jory, dbl and AlexEdohHD13 gave kudos
