During the ECP last night, the ITV DOG faded out, but then returned.

Which junction was this? At the most recent refresh that was its behaviour. That was then reversed shortly afterwards (to leave the DOG on) and from what you're saying they've changed it back again?

This could be a sign. A sign that a rebrand is happening in 2018. With ITV1 in 2012 previously, they introduced new trailer styles the YEAR BEFORE the 2013 rebrand, so maybe it could hint that 2018 will see a rebrand! (I don't know for sure, but it could happen)

Ridiculous. A DOG/bug animation does not equal a 'rebrand' around the corner. As stated previously this isn't new. 2012's look was a wind down of the old ITV1 brand.

He's probably responding to the title of this thread. Why a thread from 6 months ago has been brought back so as to mention that the dog faded down for 5 seconds I'll never know.

I didn't know there was a ITV Border Scotland? I assumed STV was all Scotland?
