Anyone else think ITV should drop The Nightly Show tonight in favour of extended News?
See, I'm not 100% percent sure that they would or would not but I think they will stick with the alternative. I do kind of feel sorry for Dermot though as first the Westminster Attacks happened and now they've called another General Election meaning that unlike the other hosts the news might be a bigger priority than The Nightly Show because of these events. I don't think ITV will be willing to take a risk on a second series of TNS though, as I think the News at Ten will return after this whole 'Five Nights of New' thing.

He still have 3 more shows than everyone else. This programme will not return any time before September, touch wood. I still think it should be 40mins and moved to 10.40.
According the the Sky EPG The Nightly Show has been pushed back to 11:15 after an extended ITV News and regional news (though it currently says 10:55 Regional News & Weather, 11pm ITV News Central).

In Fact, in Wales it looks like The Nightly Show has been pushed to 12:40 and only lasts 20 minutes to opt-in to Jackpot247 (Roulette). Judge Rinder's Crime Stories and The Detectives: Inside the Major Crimes Team seem to be the time fillers whilst the news is similar to the Central area on the Sky EPG with the News beginning at 10, the Regional News and Weather at 10:55 and ITV News Cymru Wales. Any idea why they've had to push it all the way to 12:40 and replace them with two time fillers?
Looks like STV won't broadcast The Nightly Show at all. We have Scotland Tonight at 11pm (the first of three special shows from Holyrood), Inside the Major Crimes Team at 11.35, and Teleshopping at 0.35.
