Nice intro tonight with a running montage seeming as Jason hosted the Olivier's.

Spoiled just a tad by Ellie's voiceover. Nothing wrong with her ability to speak, but they could've picked somebody much better for that job, especially when she doesn't really do much else during the show unlike the banter between Bradley and Redd.

Methinks it's a favour, I would prefer Redd Pepper to be still doing it TBH

I'm thinking so too. Apparently he tried to get him on this week but his schedule conflicted with it.

Gordon Ramsay clearly did the most for this show in terms of creating a wider impact. The intention was to get the sketches / segments etc. to go 'viral' beyond the show itself in a James Corden type way.

That's probably one of the biggest problems with this show - they tried to make something with the intention of it going viral rather than just make a decent programme.

And the hosts don't seem very confident about what features they are doing.

It feels like they say “have a look at this and see if it's funny” rather than “it's time for... (insert excitement and catchy feature name)”.

I'd argue Bradley was the only host who made it seem like the show was his, and in turn the features were his too. Jason seems to be heading that way too but everybody else felt too much like guest hosts rather than making the show their own.

Back to Joe on the piano this week though they've kept the titles which work well but they lose something without the bands arrangement.

Dermot again is very good at holding the show together, a good pair of hands to give the last show to.

Not only do I think it's disappointing that the band has been dropped in favour of the piano, but he even started playing before the title music finished! I guess it's not as rubbish as the DJ. It's definitely lost the energy that it finally had over the last two weeks though, even though Dermot is still a competent interviewer.

Yes, for me the perfect match would've been Dermot with the band and voiceover. I think I preferred Jason's format of one guest at a time as opposed to Dermot's first guest lingering around until the end.

Also, the silly 'Sit Down Stand Up' game at the end just seemed a bit similar to Norton's red chair feature and the execution just looked cheap.

All in all, I feel that Bradley (excusing Joe Pasquale) and Jason's format and presentation was the strongest but Dermot's the most competent host/interviewer.

Dropping the band and announcer is a massive step in the wrong direction and it showed. All the energy that was gained over the past 2 weeks was lost. Thumbs down
Josh and Larry the Loafer gave kudos

I still think it was silly to bring Dermot back and not find a fresh host to close the series. I know he seemed like the right choice at the time, but his successors have given the show such a boost, it looks like the producers haven't clicked on.
