ITV introduce PIN protection to Sky+

Just called Sky then as Pin numbers came up for when I tried to few a 12 rated film that has been shown before.

The person who answered the phone that it was ITV. They are PIN protecting programmes that aren't on they're channels and are after the watershed.

This is what I was told, and that's all I know, but if it is true ITV are certainly ruining the TV of the UK.

I've heard that there are have been a lot of problems with PIN protection since the software upgrade so it may be that. The live pause is also having problems.

Apparently Sky are working around the clock to fix it.

ITV - ITC - OFCOM?

ITV is an independent television production and broadcasting company. ITC was the broadcasting regulator, a completely seperate government body which merged with the radio authority to form OFCOM - the Office of Communicaitons - two years ago.

Don't start saying that I'm saying false stuff but that's what Sky told me.

Its all to do with the new software and not to do with ITV. To turn this off goto the 'Parental Contral' menu.

No restrictions were set as we couldn't even get our PIN to work,

Just because you forgot the pin doesn't mean that this isn't set as defult.
