Judging by how faded the ITV logo is, maybe it's just a modern picture of a dish that's been there for a long time.

It’s a 2009 stock photo. https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-itv-offices-in-london-110324070.html

And not even taken in the Midlands!

ITV Central announcing the same. Though haven’t really made any recognition that it’s just East viewers that will benefit from this as West viewers already see the correct region on ITV HD.

Also... it’s not just the BBC that uses out of date logos. Maybe not one that’s 22 years old though...

They deleted the tweets. Guessing it wasn't supposed to be announced yet?

They are probably getting lots of viewer replies from people who don't understand or are confused, especially from Central West viewers, for whom nothing will even change. They should have made it clearer in their articles that Central West and Meridian South East won't even have any changes.

So, I'm getting Sky Q later this month. I live in the Meridian Thames Valley area. I can expect ITV HD to be mapped to Ch 103 ?

Presumably BBC 2 HD will be on 102, but BBC 1 HD will be buried elsewhere in the EPG ? (Same for C4 HD ?)

So I’m guessing then that ITV SD will move to 803?

Yes, this will bring viewers in the affected regions in line with those areas who already have the correct version of ITV in HD.
