TV
My answer to the first point is ITV knew exactly what they were taking on when they applied for the franchises...put up or shut up! And TV isn't about making programmes just because they pay. I personally can't think of anything worse than sitting through a church service on Sunday morning - but that's not the point. To someone else it's a highlight of their viewing - and there are other channels if you don't want to watch it.

As much as we would all like to see no PSB commitments dropped from ITV, it's not going to happen, as ITV don't want to make these programmes, simple reason, they don't bring in the viewers. Frankly if I'm watching TV on a Sunday morning I'd rather watch a channel offering me Entertainment rather than one offering me Religion.
