Bob Holness. Imagine bringing him back. He's nearly 80 now.

That's never stopped Bruce Forsyth - and Jimmy Young would have carried on had he not been axed.

I remember reading that last year or the year before Bob had a Heart Attack or a Stroke or something of that nature, plus everyone has said when he appeaered on Ant and Dec he didn't look too well.

They should get Jim Bowen to do Bullseye, but you never know if he might not want to do anymore, on another Forum someone said that Jim was annoyed as he wasn't directly told that Bullseye had been axed by the Network.

Though for Bullseye they should get Peter Kay, he made some great gags about it and would fit very well into it.

I think you're right, Simon.

Let's invent a form of cyrogenic stasis so we can bring them back for the shows' 100th year anniverseries.

He'd been suffering prostate cancer for quite some time. Yet his passing was still a surprise, coming just months after presenting his tribute to Bob Hope.

We're talking about the currently alive Bob Holness here, Simon.

As I said earlier, PLEASE read the posts.

But would we want to see a parody to the past? They might as well save the money and just bung on a repeat if this was the case. But without Bullseye, then where would comedians find their 15 mins worth of material. As well as Peter Kay doing it, Sean Hughes also did his bit on Bullseye back in the early 90's on his stand up tour and equally as funny.

I think Dave Spikey (Jerry in Phoenix Nights) would be good at Bullseye. Kay wouldn't want anything to do with it.

Mr Spikey has quiz show experience when he presented a series of Chain Letters in the past.

I thought they were just repeating classic episodes!!!

It will be interesting to see how they do this. I just hope they are going to remain faithful to the originals and make them proper editions, with proper prizes and contestants, not celebrity versions.

I'd like to see a hostess trolley, a windsurfer and a top of the range betamax video on the prize board for Bullseye. Oh, and Tony Green MUST be involved.

If they re-do Family Fortunes with the Bob Monkhouse style, the prizes have to be a Cigar holder, a lawnmower and a set of egg whisks haha.
