Why not the original presenters?

According to Sky Text on Freeview, Ant and Dec are to revive some of ITV's most popular gameshows for a week in September. Gameshows to be revived include Wheel of Fortune, The Golden Shot, Blockbusters and Bullseye.
I assume this is part of ITV's 50th birthday celebrations.

Nicky Campbell certainly isn't, and I take it Jim Bowen's still around somewhere...

Please read the post.
Nowhere did I say "all". What I said was "many".
Bob Monkhouse, for instance, is VERY poorly.

That's right. Bob is very stiff these days.
Besides, I thought the bringing back of Bullseye was sommat that keeps doing the rounds. I heard about this story about two years ago, again featuring Ant and Dec but nowt came of it and another thought why would you need two presenters to host Blockbusters assuming Ant and Dec were chosen to present this.

Poor old Bob, I hope he's not sat in a chair in an old peoples home doing the Blockbusters hand jive, and asking the nurse for a "P".

That's never stopped Bruce Forsyth - and Jimmy Young would have carried on had he not been axed.

Bob Holness. Imagine bringing him back. He's nearly 80 now.
