ITV football - how are they going to get round it

ITV plan Sunday morning Premiership highlights/repeat of Sat Night show.

BUT . . . they won't be able to show it @ a similar time to the one the Beeb used.

It can't be shown 0600-0925 because of GMTV & will they want to put a repeat in the 0925 slot. Don't they have religious shows etc. 0500-0600 is too early.

09.25 would be just fine for me, they don't have religious shows in that time slot, just kids programmes.

Won't they plaster it all over ITV2 as well?

I would have thought the ITV Sports Channel would show it too. It looks like being football throughout Saturday on ITV1,

Goal Rush during the afternoon
Premier League Highlights @ 7pm

I always wondered why the BBC didn't do a 'Goal Rush' type programme as they have done on Sky's Soccer Saturday - I'm sure it would have got more viewers than the majority of Grandstand's current sports portfolio!

The repeats will probably be:
Sunday afternoon ITV1 - currently a regional slot,
Sunday morning ITV2 - the soaps would start an hour later than at present (football 9.25am, soaps 10.25am)
Saturday night ITV Sport Channel - maybe in a similar slot to MOTD on the BBC - 10.30pm?
