Does anyone know what happened to the usual presenter, Jim Rosenthal, on F1 this weekend? No mention was made of it. I've seen the replacement Angus Scott somewhere before but can't remember where.

Grim was presenting last night's boxing and will now be presenting ITV2's Champions League coverage.

Angus presents the Rally.

Jim Rosenthal will be presenting champions league football on Tuesday.

Can we keep Angus? I mean, sure, grim is iconic nowadays for F1 coverage, but I just think Angus had a lot more energy / knowledge of the sport.

I think you'll have maybe seen angus on the BTCC coverage from ITV-Sport, or the Speed Sunday programme from last season.

Speed Sunday, that's where I'd seen him.

I don't know about you but I got the feeling that the way Angus presented this weekend was far too similar to how Jim would have done it. It just seemed that Angus was 'using' Jim's 'script'.

The good thing is that you can refrain from watching ITV-F1 until 12.55pm. However then you have to put up with James Allen, his so-dull-it-could-send-you-to-sleep-voice and his ludicrous hairstyle. Even Martin Brundle now looks pained at having to work alongside this glorified pit-lane press boy.
