I am rather annoyed now; having seen a Disneyland Resort Paris plug at the beginning and end of every part of every programme on ITV1 today.

The F1 special earlier didn't even have titles going in and coming out of the break (most unusual), but was replaced with 'You're not going to believe the new adventures waiting for you at Disneyland Resort Paris', with many advertisements for their brand new Disney Studios theme park opening next door.

Is anyone else finding this a tad annoying (the Rennie adverts didn't get to me like this...)

It's called sponsorship. ITV as already mentioned need to make money, and it's a way of doing itl

And as read in another thred, there's nothing that can be done about it, they are allowed to do it that way if they wish :/

Don't they normally have the Toyota Fish over New Year's!

Whilst talking about sponsorship, I'm amazed nobody wants to sponsor WWTBAM these days

I just saw one of those bumpers. There's no indication that it's sponsoring from the one I saw, it looked more like a logo with no sponsored by caption or clear indication that they sponsored the programming.

Which means there's a chance they might just be in the wrong!

It is a requirement to have a clear indication to sponsors, and the one I saw certainly wasn't!

That reminds me of the ITV 'Day of Promise' in May 2000 - except that also had an awful 'ITV DoP' DOG at the bottom-left ALL DAY through EVERY programme!! How annoying!
