ITV ECPs

I've been told new ECPs are coming to ITV in October.

Someone on here (was it buster?) confirmed they would be soon but 'not this month'. Does anyone have information? I hope they're better than the BBC One offerings, though this is ITV, so let us not have too much hope.

That said, anything other than those evil blue bars has got to be an improvement. The lower-third US style system was what was touted by buster a few months ago, but who knows how that may have changed by now.

Does anyone have any info?

I take it that was what we just saw at the end of Emmerdale tonight ?

Credits bottom of the screen (very small) with almost full screen WTBAM promo above.

It must be it, and I quite liked it.

Caps anyone? Didn't notice they'd be doing the lower thirds means of credits which to the doomsayer in us yearning for the 1970's though you barely experienced them means the introduction of anno-less idents and "accelerated flow", ooh.

There was the old credits on Tonight, I hoping it's just where the show was made before the new credits were introduced, and not that they were trialing it on Emmerdale.

No more blue at the end of Corrie!!!

But a HIDEOUS blue menu.

Very nice credits to Corrie, with pictures of the street! I quite like them, much better than the blue bars. Like the American credits but you can read the names!

I like them more than I thought I would.

And though the credits may be a bit on the small side and a bit on the quick side, they are far superior to the BBC's efforts.

STV don't appear to have designed a new ECP...yet.
