I doubt many people call it BBC ONE Wales either, 'Did you watch EastEnders last night on BBC ONE Wales?' so maybe they should drop the regional names in the nations
Mind you most people I know over about 30 seem to call it BBC Wales.

So do we think that all the logos may actually be in one style this time round? I think the problem with the current look, is that they have drained the squares to their limits. They have been used nearly every possible way, and now ITV1 are on their 3rd look in 2 years. Personally, ITV should have kept their nice blue and yellow logo launched in Oct 2002. It displayed them as a quality broadcaster, and the logo looked great, now the squares are beyond a joke.
Another problem with the current look, is that there is no consistency, i.e. two brands taking on one type, and another two brands taking on another, e.g. ITV corporate and ITV Sport logos, and ITV2 and ITVi with their split logos.
...and hopefully, SMG might think of changing their pres aswell!
Yeah I hope so. They're STILL using the first batch of Celeb Idents, some of whom are no longer in any of the programmes. Even if they updated them to something similar to what the main ITV1 idents are now, it would be a step in the right direction but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Those SMG Graphical idents are quite good... certainly much better than the Celebs or what Network have now. However, it will be a dissapointment if they don't change the idents when ITV1 gets a new look (unless that is, the ITV1 idents turn out to be as bland as the set they are using at the moment).
ITV would have been better off tidying up the last look (shiny squares) the idea was right, but a little messy. There were many versions of that background that looked great, but a messy one for example was the generic ITV1 ident, and breakbumper background. The promotion/ ECP/ regional ident background was nice. I liked the nightime extended breakbumper, prob because it reminded me of the 1999-2002 nightime ident.
The current look is messy, and the ITV lettering does not go with split up squares. They done a good job with the ITV2 logo, but does not work with ITV1. The idents look bad with their nearly colurless background, with two sharp dark blue rectangular boxes.
I T V 1, taking into consideration that yellow and blue will be scrapped, what would you like to see presenatation wise?
Well firstly, a matching brand, so all brands will take on one look. I would like to see something bold from ITV, and maybe red/blue/white. Although I would like the channel to feel like the hearts era, with a nice nightime ident, a nicer ECP.
A look that displays them as an entertainment company and not like a cheap digital channel. Deffinatley no location idents. I wouldnt mind celebs again, but this time, more like idents, although nice graphical idents would be best.
