So Benidorm got 6.5m - that's got to be ITV's highest rated sitcom for a very long time, perhaps even over a decade.

I was under the impression that there would now be only one regional director to two regions but not that the regions themselves were being merged (other than Border-TyneTees and West-Westcountry that had been announced earlier).

They might as well go the whole hog and instate 'ITV1 England' and be done with it. Like anyone would know the difference.

I was thinking what a crap line up that looked actually - Britain's Got Talent doesn't seem so good with those programmes surrounding it.

Well All Star Mr and Mrs yes but Pushing Daisies looks really good.
