I guess that the films ie. Ice Age, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory & Nanny McPhee are counting towards their childrens quota. It's an easy way to get a few hours in.
In other news, ITV have had some level of success at 5pm with Golden Balls, which has been recommissioned for a third series, returning in April.
Golden Balls seems to be the only regular thing they show at 5pm now with a 3rd series commissioned already and it started less than a year ago.
Is that Chris Tarrant show returning too - on Takeaway the other night he was on the set of something that wasn't Millionaire, so I assume it was that.

Also talking of Tarrant, any news on further series of Tarrant on TV - would be perfect for the 10.35pm slot once a week.
It seems ages since there's been a new series - it just seems to be the occasional episode which might run in a slot for a couple of weeks, but then disappears.
Though admittedly now with YouTube etc., not to mention the changing nature of British TV shows, it's not quite the shock show it was in the nineties.

I agree. It seems to have to rely on Japanese TV footage to get some kind of "shock" factor. That and the serious PIFs into the break.
I think it's probably had it's day thanks to YouTube but who knows, it could still fill a gap and it's more worth watching than Neil "Look at me messing around" Morrissey's TV Blunders.

The bit from Takeaway was taken from the set of "It's Not What You Know", currently recording at the BBC to be shown on Challenge sometime in April.
Does anyone know the
official names
to the current set of ITV2 idents? Here's a brief description, and my suggested name:
1) The one with ghetto blasters and tapes in it. (Music or Disco?)
2) The beach scene which includespeople fanning, lazing back, ice lollies, umbrellas, thermometer & fire extinguisher; and has Hawaiian music playing. (Beach?)
3) The one with loads of big shoes in. (Shoes?)
4) The one with racetracks, cars and tyres in, and with rather lively music (Motor racing?)
5) The one implying wealth / richness: it includes a white car, a safe, women posing with bottles of booze, stacks of coins, a big white cat, an aeroplane, a sports car, etc. (Money, Wealth, Richness?)
6) A snow scene, everyone is wrapped up warm. (Snow, Cold, Winter?)
I've been unable to find a source stating official names to these. Can anyone else help?
