The final series of 'The Sopranos' isn't going out till 11.30 on Channel 4. Rolling Eyes

That's probably earlier than recent years. So often though with C4 especially you just give up on a series when it's pushed later and later into the night - Six Feet Under being the most obvious example. Watched the first couple of series religiously, but then just got fed up of following it around and dumped it.

Wed 10.35pm isn't too bad at all - though for some completely irrational reason I'm not sure it's a Wednesday night show. On the other hand everything I watch at the moment seems to be on Wednesday nights, so one more show too the mix won't do any harm.

Is it still screening on ITV4 too?

Dexter ads are airing, they look good.

Is it still being tucked away at a ridiculous hour on ITV1 though - Heist was screened at 12.40am on Friday nights.

10.35pm on Wednesday nights. The best slot we could have hoped for so I'm happy with that.

Yeah that slot isnt bad. Its not much later than Channel 4 would use for Desperate Housewives and Lost when they showed that.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. It's not that late for a US import. Damages goes out at that time on BBC One. I do hope people tune in and give it a try. It's a superb show.

I might give it a try but apart from Prison Break and DH ive given up on every other US show ive tried. Its also on the same night as Rock Rivals (starring Sean Gallagher) I think and I will definately watch that.

I wouldn't have called it a Sunday night show either though and that's the night it aired on last year on FX.

It's repeated on Friday nights at 11pm on ITV4. A bit odd as a) I expected ITV4 to show it earlier and b) I thought ITV4 would be showing it first with the repeat showing on ITV1.

Oh, and ITV1 have started promoting Pushing Daisies now. Just teaser spots during Ant and Dec saying 'Coming Soon'. Looks like they expect this to do very well.

I have seen one of those on Five (well without the ITV logo), for AD.

A lot of channels have started airing Audio Description promos. So far I've seen ads for it on ITV1, Five, Discovery and Disney Channel.

...and Channel 4 have been promoting it for ages and ages. I think there is a big campaign to push AD at the moment though.

For new programming so far I have seen the adverts for:

Rock Rivals, Dexter, Pushing Daisies and Lewis. Where will Rock Rivals go? Will it be given a Saturday night slot, to fill time when Primevil and Thank God You're Here end. I have a feeling PD will be given the Tuesday slot.

Rock Rivals is Wednesday at 9pm I think, though not for a couple of weeks or so.

Lewis returns next Sunday at 9pm.

Primeval and Ant and Dec have been swapped back next Saturday, with Primeval at 6.30pm and Ant and Dec at 7.30pm, followed by Duel then The Bourne Identity.

But Taggart is on Wednesday 27th. Although I'm not sure if that is the start of a new series or just a one-off. Taggart seems to pop up wherever they can fit it in.

Dexter will be 10.35pm on Wednesday. Lewis on Sunday nights. Pushing Daisies isnt starting untIl March I dont think? I expected Rock Rivals to go on Wednesdays as there is a slot free but if its Taggart then I dont know?

Primeval also comes to an end next Saturday, and with Ant and Dec only back for a 6 week run I wonder what we will get on Saturdays in about 5 weeks time?

Seems Wild at Heart has settled into a 7.30pm slot from next week onwards - finally logical.

I may be wrong, but I get the feeling it's something the channels are somehow obliged to promote, hence the trails being tucked away at off-peak hours. The only time I've seen C4 show their trail is just before 7am.

IIRC there used to be a requirement to show trailers promoting subtitles every now and again.

I'm surprised by now, there's no 'Audio Description' DOG at the beginning of programmes in a 'Subtitles' DOG style.

It probably will be. Its rumoured to be back in March for a longer run (6 or 7 audition shows instead of 5 we had last year) and has been confirmed for a Saturday. I have a feeling that X Factor will launch the pretty much the week after the final so I think we are in for Cowell overkill.
