They switched at the same time as CS and E'dale....
Shows how often I watch The Bill - or be more precise, how often I catch the credits when flicking through the channels.
Anyway, back to the issue of CITV and how on earth do these thousands of people complain to OFCOM about trivial issues. Very rarely I think something warrants a complaint, but the axing of CITV on Freeview in Wales is one of those instances - but trying to complain to OFCOM online is impossible!

I see The Bill now has the new lower-fifth credit style - much better than those damn blue bars.

I'm still not sure on the lower fifth design. I just think that it won't work for dramas, especially if they opt for a plain black background that work so well for most dramas. I was thinking maybe something along the lines of 7's production credits that we see on five over here where the credits are in the lower 3rd onto a background design so that the above two thirds could be used for promotion.
Or maybe something similar to credits on programmes like Desperate Housewives where the credits take up about a third to half of the screen, but are in the middle, and then move them up in a similar way that they move them across currently.

That would be my preferred option.
Another option for shows with more credits would be to use the full screen for say the cast lists, and then switch to the generic style for the crew list, which would still give them time for a promo.

Ant and Dec ending at 21.30 seems a bit late though - isnt it usually on from around 19.30-20.30?
So less than 6 episodes of Emmerdale because of the football then - or are they putting thr 1 hour on the Thursday?
