If it starts around the end of March it could possibly replace Echo Beach and Moving Wallpaper as they end around then.

Pushing Daisies has been earmarked for a high-profile 9pm weekday or Friday or weekend 10pm slot when it launches at the end of March.

Brilliant news. The show is supposed to be fantastic and most certainly does not deserve a graveyard slot.

Well, CITV Channel still shows schedules as normal. Maybe ITV4 will only go 24 hours on Sky and VM, or maybe ITV2+1 will get the axe (or half the axe, which would be silly).

Rumours on Digital Spy that according to radiotimes.com, ITV4 is going 24 hours from 6th Feb - so what this means for the CITV Channel I've no idea.

Apparently CITV is going back to broadcasting until 6.00pm at weekends, although nothing has been mentioned on how it affects Freeview. Rumours are rife about CITV taking the old ABC1 slot or something happening to ITV2 +1, one or the other it sounds interesting.
Although ITV4 are apparnently showing Teleshopping from 6.00 until 9.00am and then repeats of Police, Camera, Action, Minder and the usual ITV4 things take up the rest of the day.

Well I suppose Virgin1 broadcasts 24 hrs but only 6pm onwards on Freeview, so ITV4 could do the same if daytime is just filled of looped repeats.
As for the ABC1 slot - the difficult there is that's taken in Wales by S4C~2 - and I can't see ITV getting away with taking their children's channel off air in Wales.

ITV's made a further move towards becoming Sky One by refusing to show the final of Euro 2008.
They're claiming it's because Ingerlund Ingerlund didn't get to the tournament (which would be disgraceful and parochial, quite frankly), but in reality it's probably more to do with the fact they get destroyed every time they got head to head with the Beeb.
Hard to see any replacement getting equivalent ratings though, and at least to me it lowers the ITV brand that they would ditch live coverage of such an important game.
