Worth noting that the idents have unsurprisingly gone back to normal today, as nice as the Christmas package was it was starting to grate on me a bit.

Feels like they are brand new. Yeah, I was getting sick of them too.

A 12 day last harrah then, I suppose.

Weird thing just now, after the ITV News at Ten, the next programme to be introduced was 2012: A Funny Old Year, then straight after the ident, we got the Documentaries on ITV sting play, before the Crabbies sponsor bumper played, then A funny old year started.

Have all ITV regions now got a +1 version - noticed variants of Anglia, Tyne Tees, West and Westcountry popped up as new channels on my latest Digiguide update, though I think they've been around a while.

ITV1+1 Westcountry has certainly been there for a while now.

I dipped into The West Country Tonight this evening, and they are still using their normal studio: despite having the CSO 'Desk on a crate' set-up for during their transition to the new look. Maybe things have been delayed for the news revamp in Brizzle?

Maybe they don't need to come from the temp set, just yet...

Or maybe that isn't the temporary set but is indeed the new set. "Desk on a crate" is so 2013!

Don't forget In the past Granada has been in a cso from the Friday and over the weekend and then Monday new set, and if the re-brand is the Tuesday they might only need the weekend.

I'm keeping this photo in case anyone ever questions me putting my Christmas tree on a pallet.

ITV have done a product placement deal with Highland Spring water, which will see bottles of the water on the judges desk and branding around the training rink.

(PS the new Product Placement thread was closed on the premise there was an existing thread - which however has been archived and cannot now be added to Rolling Eyes )

How odd that Splash doesn't have a proper website, just a page on the ITV News site:

I see that "STV Health Centre sponsors the ITV National Weather" in Scotland.

I'm guessing there might have been some sort of disagreement over who gets the money from Seven Seas (ie. STV possibly not getting any?). Or maybe up here we simply need more medical help than a few vitamins and supplements.
