Interesting, I thought that was put to bed for good. I remember we were discussing on here at the end of the last series how stale the show had started to become and that Ant and Dec's heart wasn't in it anymore. I hope this proves different and that the same Z-listers don't appear throughout the whole show i.e. Chico.

It'll be interesting to see how fresh the new series of takeaway will feel after a few years away, though looking at that logo (if that is the new one) it makes me think not much will be different, after so many years I feel a new look including set may be needed.

Some of you may be interested that there seems that there is a confirmed date for the return of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
According to the ITV Be on TV website, it looks like it's Saturday 23rd February 2013 for a run of 7 shows. And there's a sneaky peek at their new (but very similar to the old) logo.

As long as they don't do 'Ant vs Dec: The teams' and pack out the show with far too many celebs it should be ok.

They probably have changed the logo because the latest logo was completely different. It was like a cityscape with skyscrapers spelling out the programme name. I can't find a clean version, but this will jog your memories

After Push the Button and Red of Black, I think they now know that not everything they touch turns to gold so they'll probably enjoy themselves on this more.

After Push the Button and Red of Black, I think they now know that not everything they touch turns to gold so they'll probably enjoy themselves on this more.

I agree, and the same with Duel too - a great game axed far too quickly (they didn't host it, but I think they produced it). So annoying when crap like In it to Win It runs for a decade.
Would like to see Ant & Dec and ITV bring back Pokerface. That was one game/quiz show I definitely enjoyed.
