I see so the slip must have been a result of failure to switch from national to regional play out quick enough?

Kind of, presumably just the playout operator at STV pressing 'Take' slightly too late - the ad breaks will be manual start it being live

Anyone else having no HD on ITV1 HD at the moment? The ident was from SD and the News is in SD too....

I like how the ITV Weekday afternoon ad has been played a number of times this evening and its going to be completely ripped up tomorrow by this match fiasco.

Im pretty sure during the 8pm hour during the football programme, those LIVE odds ads were being played but didn't have any odds showing, I assume its like a generic ad until those odds are added?

True, The Alan Titchmarsh Show (shown at 3pm) is probably cancelled and the two shows after it are definitely not going to be shown tomorrow. And the news will probably be cut short too, otherwise the live Emmerdale episode will be delayed.

A bit of possible future daytime news: Paul O'Grady told Richard Bacon on 5 Live earlier that he really wants to revive his daily teatime show and ITV have expressed keen interest in the idea of 2 six week runs a year.

And he said the same thing on Loose Women today as welll

ITV seem fairly happy with the gameshows they're showing at 5pm but they should put him in the 3pm slot and alternate with Alan Titchmarsh. That way he'd be able to be a lot more 'daytime' and be able get away with more features like homeless dogs. By the end of its Channel 4 run it had veered well away from the entertainment show it originally was.

Remember ITV have that Daytime Police Drama by Newman Street to slot in!

Itv news titles went a bit off-time them with the photos that are meant to be on the glass boards floating around.

A similar thing happened yesterday as well.
