Wont be as many signs to replace this time round, though - especially as Salford/Trafford will be a brand new buildings/complex so no replacements just new signage. Only replace those at London Studios and Leeds - anywhere else nowadays as the main studios (Leeds only because of Emmerdale)??? Otherwise they can take their time to replace the signs on the regional news offices.
The only aspect unconfirmed is whether the current ITV logo will stay (I suspect so given the cost of replacing signage).
Otherwise it's 2006 mkII.

Granada studios at Quay Street have got some signs with the current ITV logo, and they actually removed the famous Granada TV sign from the top of the building 2 years ago.
They're relocating to Media City later this year, and with the exception of the bonded warehouse (the only part of the site which is listed), most of the site is likely to be demolished, and plans are already being made for its redevelopment:

Some studios CAN'T have their signs replaced. Granada Studios in Manchester for example, still has 1950s Granada signage because it's a listed building. For some reason, they never even put a 1968-2002 G-arrow logo on there.

It also happened on the online feed.
The HD feed of the Champions League match suddenly cut to Mark Austin preparing for the News at Ten a few moments ago. Sadly they've switched to an SD feed.

But not on STV HD interestingly. The commentator seemed to think it happened in certain areas too, but he may have been referring to the ITV1 HD regions.

The introductions to the Party Election Broadcasts don't seem right, I think the announcers are reading out too much.
They are rushing to say
"There now follows a Party Election Broadcast by the UK Independence Party for the English Local Elections, 3rd May 2012" in a 5 second slot
On the BBC they are just saying the first bit as would be normal.

There's something odd about that PEB today, Andrew.
I noticed that the BBC One (London) announcer read the whole script over the BBC One symbol, rather than the station id over the symbol and then the PEB intro over the top of the front of the PEB.

ITV has commissioned two new comedy shows, one 'The Job Lot' with Russell Tovey and Sarah Hadland, sounds quite good. Also 'Great Night Out'.
Glad to see ITV putting some money into sitcoms, 'The Job Lot' is 30 minutes long I would presume.
