I'm not sure if its already been mentioned, but the sponsorship on the ITV1 trailers has changed. It now appears at the start, in the same way that channel 4 do it, with the endboard free from any clutter.
EDIT: Examples so far are Long Lost Family's, and Keith Lemon's Lemonaid.

Yeah they do seem to be making a few changes pres wise lately.
On a general note does anyone think ITV1 seems to have improved their general pres and especially their trailers recently? From the Keith Lemon's Lemonaid trailer to the Documentaries on ITV1 trailer mentioned above - which I think is really quite classy. Their recent efforts hopefully means September relaunch is looking promising. Fingers crossed!
Was the following just a mistake, or are ITV not doing continuity announcements when ECP's appear? The ending credits for the Chase began to play out, and the ECP came along, with Who Wants to be a Millionaire featuring, but with no voiceover from the CA. The music didn't fade down either? It probably was just a mistake, but seeing as ITV1 are doing so many things different at the moment...

It was nice for the credits to play still have the option to see whats on later but nothing to spoil the theme music playing. Maybe it should alternate so it would grab the viewers attention, rather than now, expecting someone to speak over it all.
Whilst the ECP doesn't shrink the credits like the BBC's does, I still don't like it. In 2003 days, when the ECP literally bordered around where the credits were, so full-size credits were visible, this current one crops a bit off, but otherwise shrinks it. The text looks quite messy in the process, and IMO, whilst it's better than the BBC offering, it doesn't look as nice. C4 are definitely the best for ECPs.

They've only started doing that a year or so ago, since the new ECP design came in.
Really random...but ITV Nightscreen seems to have had a mini refresh and has gone widescreen with 16:9 safe graphics. (after years of 4:3!) And they've seem to have updated the music and stings.
That's the same font used on the final ITN News and first ITV News graphics over 10 years ago. I wonder why the corporate ITV font (and logo) aren't used?
You would think they'd remove the message about regional variatons - apart from the few things on ITV Wales in the anti-EastEnders slot there aren't any (and presumably Nightscreen doesn't air on STV/UTV).
