It would look so bland with a bit of a background. I think STV would benefit from centring text and logo on their promos:

I think this is okay, I like it!

Bizzare scheduling of Planet's Funniest Animals on ITV1 at 6:45pm tonight, the first time it's ever been on prime time ITV1. It's the american version as well and it's in 4:3!

Why they didn't use YBF like they usually do I don't know.

Thanks for the heads up. I am watching it now. There sure are some funny animals on this planet.

Although maybe it would have been a better idea to give the extra 15 minutes to the live Who Wants to be a Millionaire? tonight instead.

Yeah I thought it was bit silly, extending the FA cup coverage or who wants to be a Millionaire a extra 15 minutes or even the local and national news by 5 mins each, very odd!

Why does ITV keep flogging Millionaire, it would be nice if a proper gameshow would be on.

Yes, it's not like they're usually afraid of padding out Dancing on Ice either (I think last years semi-final was longer than 90 minutes).

Celebrity All Star Who Wants to be a Millionaire: Non-celebrity Special(s) will air in the summer, they just put a contestant call out.

What's your definition of a 'proper gameshow'

Millionaire has so far this year had 2 episodes, hardly flogging it!

its been on air for about 14 years now? All other ITV gameshow are put to bed by this time, Expect for catchphrase which managed 15 years but that was CRAP at the end.

To be fair I don't think Bullseye was crap at the end - it was the same show it had always been from series 2.... but the difference being that ITV, in their infinite wisdom, moved it from a Sunday teatime (inbetween early evening news and Highway) to a Saturday teatime - the old 515 blockbusters slot, which basically killed the show.

ITV wanted to make more changes to the series and the crew pulled the plug as there disagreed with what was being suggested. Blockbusters slot had not been used since early 1989. Champion BB did use the slot in summer of 89 and 90. I do believe Catchphrase took over the slot from that point? formally being Sunday show.

ITV just like mucking around with decent format and it puts people off. Now its all Red of black Rolling Eyes why not have a simple FAST pace game that take 6mins to play!
