Do Tyne Tees not sell split advertising space then, regardless of the fact that there is no longer a split news service?

An interesting end to Midsummer Murders.
It's obvious that they've split an original 2 hour episode, but it cut off at the end of a scene, to the end board & credit sponser. Surely they could have edited the credits to the end of part 1 too, or at least have a corrie style will continue... Board.
To anybody watching without noticing the end board, it must seem off that the chase then randomly starts.

Quite good to know that they also include STV and UTV in this for the advertising maps....

I was wondering if many people still refer to ITV1 as just ITV, even though it's been called ITV1 since 2001. I would
hazard a guess, since my 75 year old father still calls it ITV, even though I often refer to it as ITV1 in his presence,
it's mostly older folk that still call it ITV, regardless of the existence of ITV2, 3 and 4.
Similarly, I wonder if many people still use the old regional names depending on the ITV region they come from.

Broadcast 23rd February 2011 posted:
ITV1 is targeting a major push on original content for weekend mornings and is lining up a rival to BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen plus a fresh stab at Let’s Do Lunch With Gino & Mel.
The broadcaster is understood to have earmarked increased funds for weekend daytime programming after internal research showed it could benefit commercially from targeting the large number of adult viewers available at the time.
It has commissioned Optomen Television to make a yet-to-be-named 21 x 60-minute Saturday breakfast cookery show, hosted by Nadia Sawalha and chef Mark Sargeant. The format will be recorded as live.
Saturday breakfast cookery show
It will air later this spring and, although obvious comparisons will be made with Saturday Kitchen, it is believed that ITV is lining up the show for an 8.30am slot, thus avoiding a clash with the BBC1 rival, which starts at 10am.
Broadcast understands that ITV1 also wants to convert former weekday daytime cookery format Let’s Do Lunch With Gino & Mel into a Sunday morning series. The show is fronted by chef Gino D’Acampo and Melanie Sykes, and averaged 947,000 (12.23%) in a 12.30pm slot last year.
ITV is known to have been chasing a Sunday morning show after holding talks with Princess Productions about providing a new home for axed BBC2 vehicle Something for the Weekend. Instead, C4 has snapped up Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer to host new Princess format Sunday Brunch.
It is believed some ITV staff feel the channel currently “surrenders” weekend mornings, and a source said its research showed there was a chance to establish a “wider, more commercially attractive audience in weekend breakfast slots”.
Dinner Date’s strong performances in a Sunday morning slot have provided impetus for the original content drive. Hat Trick’s dating format has been recommissioned for a fourth series.

We used to live in Rochdale (Granada region) and my dad still refers to ITV1 as Granada. We do live in the Border region and have done for 12 years now, but its never ITV1, ITV or Border
